Patti Niebojewski, owner and operator of Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties, New Jersey is dedicated to providing loving, kind, compassionate care to seniors in her community. “My goal with Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services is to help seniors remain in their homes independently, as long as they want to, and have the respect and dignity they deserve,” says Patti.
Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services matches seniors who want to help with seniors who need a little help. This peer-to-peer assistance allows seniors in need to receive compassionate care from someone they can trust and to whom they can relate. At the same time, seniors who are providing services are able to remain active in their community and form relationships with their peers.
Patti employs senior Certified Home Health Aides caregivers. They provide services including personal care, companion care, gardening, yard work, home maintenance, homemaking services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, help with bills, transportation assistance, medication reminders, 24 hour care, overnight care and pet walking and grooming.
Patti was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. She was a registered Interpreter of the Deaf, went to Ramapo College for Accounting and Business Administration and nearly received a Masters of Pastoral Religion from Northwestern Nazarene University. She is affiliated with the Oakland, Paramus and Tri-County Chamber of Commerce’s, The Rotary Club and the National Association of Realtors. Patti is very active in her community, working as a Sunday school teacher, singing with the New Jersey Choral Society and volunteering at the Senior Citizens Center in Oakland, NJ. “My education, career as a leader in business and ministry, my family history and genealogy and my personal experiences including caring for my mother, have inspired my to do the work of care giving,” Patti states. “After my mother passed I thought I could help other people live independently and maintain their quality of life, and I get the chance to do that now. My business is all about love, kindness and compassion. I want to make a difference in the lives of all the people who come in contact with Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services.”
Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services has sites throughout the U.S. The organization was founded by Kiran Yocom, who has a mission and a passion to help seniors live independently. Kiran’s personal interest in seniors grew out of her work with Mother Teresa of Calcutta. She leads the organization through compassion and caring for all.
