About Us

David and Judy VanderLinde, Regional Owners of Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services throughout Kent County, Michigan have made it their personal mission to help the aging population in their community. The VanderLinde family, which includes son, David Jr., and daughter Amanda, work together to provide compassionate in-home non-medical care. By matching seniors who need help with seniors who want to help, the VanderLinde family fosters unique relationships that benefit Providers, Receivers and their families.
David and Judy have an intimate understanding of the struggles people face when they need care. When David was diagnosed with cancer in 2004, it was the loving, caring relationships with his caregivers that helped him pull through.
“The nursing staff at St. Mary’s Lack Cancer Center demonstrated to me how much better treatment is in a caring environment,” recalls David. “Judy and I made a commitment that if I were to survive we would devote ourselves to giving back to our community. Becoming a part of Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services is our way of doing just that.”
The senior Providers who work with David and Judy are able to offer housekeeping, overnight care, personal care, pet care, meal preparation, lawn care, maintenance work and, most importantly, companionship. “With Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services we have a wonderful opportunity to work with senior care providers who really just want to give something back. So many seniors in our community have big hearts and many talents and want to provide loving services to our area seniors,” says Judy.
In addition to running their own Seniors Helping Seniors center in Kent County, David and Judy want to help other people open Seniors Helping Seniors centers. If you live in the lower peninsula of Michigan and South Bend/Elkhart area of Indiana and want to help seniors in your community care for, and receive help from one another please call 616-234-0190 or e-mail info@homehealthcaregrandrapids.com.
