About Us

Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services throughout Mesa, Chandler and Sun Lakes, AZ is all about family.  This family business is dedicated to providing quality, loving care for other families in the Phoenix area.  Colleen Wakley and her husband Chris have taught their children Adam and Jason the importance of giving back to their community and being there for others.  So, together, they have dedicated themselves to offering compassionate care to seniors and their families.

Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services matches seniors who want to help with seniors who need a little help.  This peer-to-peer assistance allows seniors in need to receive care from someone they trust and can relate to.  At the same time, seniors who can help are able to help remain active in their community, stay connected with other seniors and can earn some extra income.  Everyone benefits.

“I have always believed people need to have continued purpose and passion as they age,” says Colleen.  “What better way for seniors to do that than by helping other seniors.”  Colleen’s passion to be there for others is inspired by her Aunt who passed away at 92 and lived a full and active life dedicated to the service of others.  In her Aunt’s final years she was blessed with wonderful caregivers who were able to give her back the love and care she had given for so many years. Colleen was also raised by her grandparents and inspired by her wonderful relationship with the her “older aunts and uncles.  The lesson’s Colleen’s Aunt’s life helped to inspire Colleen and her family to create Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services, and to dedicate their individual talents to give back to seniors in the East Valley.

The senior Providers who work with Colleen and her family offer many services including personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, yard work, house maintenance and small repairs, overnight stays, 24 hour-care, pet care, computer lessons and most importantly, companionship.
